"Tu Lugar Seguro" documents Flow Design Architects' pro bono work building homes for families in Colombia — a project rooted in the same mission that drives everything we do at Flow: architecture that restores dignity.
Flow Design Architects was founded on the belief that good design should reach everyone, not just those who can afford it. "Tu Lugar Seguro" — "Your Safe Place" — is the documentary that tells the story of our pro bono work building homes for families in Colombia, and it's now live on our YouTube channel.
The film follows our team on the ground in Colombia, from the families and homes we met at the start of the project to the safe places we helped build with them. It's a companion piece to the values that have shaped Flow since day one — the same commitment to architecture as a tool for dignity that runs through our WISH Colombia initiative and the rest of our community work.
There's a line from the film that has stayed with our whole team since we first heard it: "Un hogar es digno" — "A home is dignity." It's become shorthand around our office for what this project, and this documentary, are really about.
