Frequently Asked Questions
What does Flow Design Architects do?
Flow is an architecture and interior design practice. We design residential, commercial, multifamily, and institutional spaces, from home renovations and additions to multifamily developments and restaurant and retail fit-ups.
Where is Flow located?
Our office is at 50 Grove Street, Suite 221, in Salem, Massachusetts. We also have a branch in the Dominican Republic, and we work on projects across the U.S. and beyond.
How does the design process work?
We work in five stages: an Initial Consultation, then Define, Envision, Design, and Document. The initial consultation is a conversation about your goals, vision, challenges, timeline, and budget, so both sides can see whether the project is a good fit.
How do I start a project with Flow?
Email info@flow-design-studio.com, call +1 978-498-4370, or use the form on this page. The first step is an initial consultation.

The idea for Flow began in 2014, and the firm was officially founded in February 2017 by Darguin Fortuna, AIA, NCARB, NOMA, and Marcos Severino, Assoc. AIA. Both are Founding Principals.
Is Flow a minority-owned business?
Yes. Flow Design Architects is 100% MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) owned and operated.
Do you offer interior design as well as architecture?
Yes. Our interior design team works on residences, workplaces, hospitality, and community spaces, under our Director of Interior Design.
