33 Indian Ridge - Full Home Renovation

Built in 1967 along the Charles River, this mid-century home was reimagined for contemporary living while keeping the qualities that made it special. Its trapezoidal form, sloping roofline and sun-filled plate-glass windows were preserved, then wrapped in black-framed geometry, warm cedar shiplap and gray clapboard.

Our partners, builders Peter Souhleris of City Light Homes and Donnie Settlemoir, were renewing the house for its next owners, so every move was weighed against the budget. As we wrote when we delivered the plans, we were mindful of it at every step.
